WestHost was once a great company with a large user base over the world, but an accident forced many users to move away. In February, 2010, there was a piece of big news in the hosting industry that an incident in WestHost data center caused terrible downtime.

But in recent years, the quality of WestHost has declined drastically. Now the company does not treat its customers in the same way it did several years ago.

Shared hosting covers 3 plans named as Personal Hosting, Preferred Hosting and Business Hosting. The prices for them start from $4/mo, $8/mo and $12/mo respectively. Personal includes the most limited resources: 50 GB disk space, 1000 GB bandwidth, and 1 database. Only 1 website is allowed to host with this plan. cPanel is available in all plans.

Cloud hosting splits into 3 plans, too. Burst, Storm and Monsoon are priced from $50/mo, $100/mo and $150/mo respectively. The minimum resources included in the plans are 1128 MB RAM, 1.2 GHz CPU, 20 GB disk storage and 500 GB bandwidth. The maximum storage of a cloud server is 90 GB.
