Step One – Update Related Contact Information for Your Domain

The reason why you need to make your related contact information up-to-date is that the needed EPP or authorization code will be emailed to you later. Follow the listed steps in below and make your contact information newly-updated.
  1. Login to the GoDaddy account and find out the section of Hi, Customer (which normally shows your name) on the top of the admin page.
  2. Then, click the button of Visit My Account and click the icon of Launch which lies next to the icon of Domains.
  3. Next, select the domain you want to transfer and click in the corresponding check box.
  4. Enter the Contact Information section under the directory of Contacts.
  5. Take a review and update the correspondent contact information in the popped bars of Registrant, Technical, Administrative and Billing.

Step Two – Remove Your Privacy Protection and Unlock from Domain

To make your request for transferring the domain name run successfully, you need to remove your domain privacy protection through logging into the DomainByProxy account and unlock your domain in the admin page as follows.
1. As is mentioned above, you firstly need to enter the page of Visit My Account and then click the Launch button.
2. Then, select the domain you want to unlock and click in the correspondent check box.
3. Make a click on the Lock button in the bar of Domains menu and click the Off button to execute your command.

Step Three – Send Your Authorization or EPP Code and Transfer Request

The authorization or EPP code is needed in the process of transferring a domain name for the sake of security and safety.   2. In the meantime, make a click on the button of Accept and then choose OK option to complete the whole configuration.
