To automatically install a WordPress plugin, you need to have the following FTP access information ready:
  • FTP username.
  • FTP password.
  • Connection type (FTP, FTPS).
  • Server hostname for FTP access.

9 steps to finish automatic installation:

1. Go to your WordPress admin panel.
2. Go to Plugins > Add New
3. Under Search, type in the name of the WordPress plugin or descriptive keyword, author or tag in the search form or click a tag link below the search form.
4. Find the one you want to install.
5. Click Details for more information about the plugin and instructions you wish to print or save it to help you set up the plugin.
6. Click Install Now to install. A popup window will ask you to confirm the plugin you desire.

7. If this is the first time you have installed a WordPress plugin, you need to enter the FTP login credential information. If not, the login information will already be stored and it is available through you web server host.
8.Click Proceed to continue with the installation. The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the installation.
9.As soon as succeed in installation, click Activate Plugin to activate it. If not, return to plugin installer for further actions.

1. Download the one you want to your desktop.
2. If downloaded a zip archive, extract the plugin folder to your desktop. This is very important, as files must be extracted in order to be uploaded properly to the wp-content/plugins folder.

4. With your FTP program, upload the plugin folder to the wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress directory.
