EasyCGI Speed Review 3.00 of 5

EasyCGI resides their two data centers in the Boston, MA area, covering more than 2400 square feet of space. Both their data centers utilize DELL servers which are the gold standard when it comes to high performance data center servers. EasyCGI is capable of delivering fast speed.

The frontend-network of this company consists of redundant routers connected to the world over multiple providers through BGP. To be honest, EasyCGI is not so bad in terms of loading speed. Of course, different webmasters have various hosting experience. So, there are still some of them complaining about the downtime and slow speed of the company's network.

EasyCGI Reliability Review 2.50 of 5

EasyCGI claims that they make much effort to keep their promise of 99.9% uptime. But disappointingly, sometimes they eat their words. Even if supported by fully redundant routers, UPS power and backup generator, this company still can not receive trust from others, especially the large number of webmasters who purchased their service but finally gave up.

EasyCGI Feature Review 2.00 of 5

All shared hosting packages of EasyCGI come with limited disk space, monthly data transfer and amount of MySQL databases. For the primary package, 3500 GB data transfer, 350 GB web storage and 50 MySQL databases are allowed.

With regard to the most important features for a Windows hosting solution - the Windows server, web server and programming languages, EasyCGI doesn't show a good picture. The company only offers Window 2008/2003 and IIS 7/IIS 6 instead of the latest versions. By the way, they only offer ASP.NET 3.0/2.0/1.1 versions, which makes them quite outdated.

In addition, if you choose this web host, you might worry a little about the security of your website and account because the company doesn't include many security measures. Cron Jobs are not accessible and only one shopping cart is offered for startup.

You should know that the control panel of this company is generic. It is a little bit clunky and slow compared with WebSitePanel or some other major control panels. To sum up, EasyCGI is only suitable for those who plan on something simple. But if you want to increase the complication of your website in an easy way, you must start to fight against all kinds of problems.

EasyCGI Technical Support Review 1.50 of 5

EasyCGI promises to offer professional 24x7 technical support through live chat, phone call and email. But as a matter of fact, they are not professional enough. Some of our experiences indicate that the person you chat with probably has no clue when you ask questions.

Generally speaking, the helpers will give you the same answer: "I have to refer this to a technician on the next level". Then they will create a support ticket and consequently, you can never talk to the actual technicians and engineers. Therefore, the professional level of this company's support staff needs improvement.
