Bounceweb Reliability Review 2.50 of 5

Bounceweb claims to utilize two of the best data centers located in Houston and Dallas, housing over 2,000 web servers. Both data centers are SAS 70 Type I Certificated. The use of N+1 redundancy guarantees service reliability in case of any component failure. By featuring HVAC and the most advanced line networks, all infrastructures are applied with adequate source of power.

Staffed data center monitoring system works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once a problem happens, the technicians and engineers will work a solution and turn the situation around instantly. In this case, Bounceweb guarantees at least 99.9% uptime on average. The current uptime record indicates that there are 86245 successful checks and 11 failed. Once suffering downtime issues, customers are encouraged to turn to Bounceweb 30-minute support in real time.

Firsthand Experience of Technical Support 1.50 of 5

As for many customers complain of poor technical support, we test the response time of three communication methods available in Bounceweb, including live chat, phone and email. Although Bounceweb guarantees 24x7x365 support and promises to settle a matter within 30 minutes, the test result comes short of what we expect.

We want to ask if there are any special offers available for the cPanel hosting via live chat, but no support is available in the daytime, even several hours later. The same is true of telephone. As thus, we can only get a help by sending a question via email. That is the most inefficient way to get an answer. After half an hour, we have not accepted any response to our request. As many customers said before, the 24x7 support of Bounceweb looks impressive but worthless.

cPanel Hosting Usability and Resources 2.00 of 5

Bounceweb integrates the shared hosting solution with cPanel to simplify website development. The one-click installation for multiple applications enables more functions to a website. However, this company removes the default backup function from cPanel so that webmasters cannot backup their sites via this control panel. That makes most customers upset.

The shared hosting solution includes RAID protected storage space and premium Tier-1 bandwidth without limitation. That guarantees fast data transfer and leaves enough room for site development.

Start at $6.67/mo with Extra Fees 2.00 of 5

The cPanel shared hosting solution is pricing at $9.97/mo, $8.87/mo, $7.67/mo and $6.67/mo for monthly/semiannually/annually/biannually-subscription, excluding contracts and account setup fees. It is much more expensive that many other affordable shared hosting companies who price the service lower than $5/mo, like HostGator, InMotion Hosting and BlueHost.

For domain registration, webmasters should pay for $15/year to register a new domain on Bounceweb. That is really a big purchase for individuals or some small websites. Besides, the domain transfer is at the same price. If there is a need to change domain name, $5 one-time fee is required.

    doesn't recommend web hosting

Absolute fraud. They advertise "unlimited" hosting but decreased services at a little over 3G of useage. They claim to go by 'page count', regardless of size. My opinion is that they are fraudulent and deceptive. I have changed to a different provider because of their poor service.
