All of the three plans support Easy Control Panel, PHP 5, MySQL 5, CGI/Perl, WordPress, Joomla and instant activation. Free hosting plan includes 250MB disk space, 5GB monthly data transfer, 3 free domains at co.nf. The unlimited hosting plans provide unlimited disk space, data transfer, and 1 free domain. The only difference between 2 unlimited plans is that Personal plan only supports to host 2 domains while the other one allows hosting unlimited websites.
As an old saying goes, there is no lunch for free. Biz.nf is actually not as good as it supposed to be. So are the hosting services. The free and paid clients are held by different servers. Therefore, there are many restrictions and limitations in Free plan such as SMTP support limitation with which the clients cannot send over 30 emails per month from their websites. Also, under a maximum file size limit of 2 MB, uploading larger files to websites is impossible.
Similarly, customers cannot reach many resources through Free plan. For instance, E-commerce tools like shopping cart, client management, Shared SSL servers and Password protected areas are excluded in Free plan. Some other serious limitations are as listed below.
- No site builders, 1-click installer, data backup, SSH, SSI or custom Error 404 page.
- 1 website allowed, 3 sub-domains, 1 email account, 1 email filter, and 1 FTP account.
- 1 MySQL database and 10MB database storage.
- No cronjobs, PHP.ini support, password protection or website statistics.
- For content management system, only Joomla and WordPress are allowed.
As a result, if the clients want to do business on their websites, they have no choice, but to upgrade to Personal plan or Business plan. Note that even the Personal plan is not recommended for businesses because it only includes 5 sub-domains, 7 MySQL databases (with 10 MB storage), and 7 PostgreSQL databases.
